VINTAGE PENCHIME 31 DAY MANTEL SHELF OR WALL CLOCK JAPAN
I have a Vintage 31 DAY Japanese Penchime Mantel, Shelf or Wall Clock. From my limited research, I believe it is from the xxxx's-xxxx's. The wood cabinet is in very good condition, except there is a shiny area on the left side, where tape was removed...please see the pictures. It does have hardware on the back, if you want to hang it. It measures 19 ½" H (with finale) x 10" W x 4 ½"" D. It has a glass door that opens. My Father-in-law had several identical Penchime clocks. It's possible they are new and he bought them during the 70's??? I don't know for sure. . ...
Comes with a key, which is stored inside the cabinet and a decorative gold adjustable pendulum.
Mechanics: Right off the shelf, this clock runs well. Prior to listing, we confirm if the clock runs for a minimum of 24 hours before packaging. This particular clock has been running great for several days now. It chimes on the hours and ½ hour. (We do not "regulate" the time during this evaluation, as I have read, it's best to wait).
